speaking about the blues, the cosmic type.
tomorrow night will be the first gig of the new line up of CARRO DE FOGO. the new dragster, leaded by trumpet player sei miguel, will leave the garage for the first time as a nonet, for a late night gig at musicbox in lisbon.
on stage, beside sei miguel, will be fala mariam (trombone), nuno torres (saxophone), rafael toral (electronics), andré gonçalves (also on electronics), pedro gomes (guitar), myself (bass), césar burago (percussion) and luís desirat (drums). ‘to comfort and kill’!
this will be my first gig with the band, thought we play together on other formations for almost 10 years now.
if you’re in town, you’re most welcome there!
we will be preaching the cosmic blues from 2 am forward :)
